What is Yoga?

Yoga is a broad, deep and wide-ranging practice. It means different things to different people around the world.

We believe that no single person or group “owns” yoga.

To some people yoga is a means to an end for physical health. It’s a workout, and nothing more.

To others, yoga is about finding balance in one’s spiritual state. Physical workouts may not be a main goal.

To us, there is no “right” or “wrong” answer to the proper practice of yoga.

Our Practice Philosophy

To us, in our practice, yoga is all about balance. To us, yoga is about:

  • Achieving a healthy, reliable balance of our mental, physical and emotional states.
  • Celebrating the marriage between our primal, natural state and our amazing human intellect.
  • Maintaining a balanced, healthy and sustainable connection between our minds and bodies.
